We currently seek a Business Developer with contacts in the commercial or government areas, who wants a compensation plan that has no restrictions in an environment that promotes personal and professional success.
This position includes an annual sales quota with a 100% attainment objective. The Mid-level Business Development Executive is accountable for the following:
Basic Position Requirements:
- Quickly learning and understanding Convergence’s customer value proposition, and articulating Convergence’s core competencies to prospects in a professional and graceful manner.
- Developing and maintaining a balanced pipeline of long-range, mid-term and immediate opportunities.
- Identifying, developing and maintaining top-level client, potential client, and industry partner relationships.
- Managing the new and existing business relationships.
- Identifying and pursuing multiple marketing opportunities for major business expansion.
- Closing New Business.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of information technology professional services experience.
- 1 years of business development and sales experience, calling at the highest level (CEO, CIO, CTO, Senior VP).
- 2 years of business development and sales experience in the commercial marketplace.
- 2 years of IT professional services sales quotas exceeding $2M, with verifiable 100% quota attainment.
- Formally trained in industry recognized professional sales methodologies (Solution Selling, Target Account Selling, Shipley, etc.)

Senior Engineering Consultant
Convergence Technology Consulting is looking for a few Senior Engineers that have experience in one or all of the following Infrastructure Technologies: Microsoft (Exchange and Active Directory), Citrix, VMware, and Enterprise Storage. This position will encompass working individually or part of a team to complete complex installations, upgrades and migrations of servers in the technologies listed above.
Basic Position Requirements:
- Perform network installation, upgrade and migration projects with Microsoft, Citrix, and VMware technologies.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Write documentation
- Extensive experience with installation and support of all Microsoft operating systems.
- Experience implementing and supporting LAN and WAN environments.
- Experience with HP or Dell (or equivalent high-end) servers
- Basic experience implementing and supporting SAN devices
- Experience implementing and supporting clustered operating systems and storage devices
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as: Exchange, SQL Server, Remote Access Server, Terminal Services, and HyperV.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Active Directory.
- Experienced in the installation and support of server virtualization software (VMware, Citrix, HyperV)
- Experienced in Active Directory and Exchange migrations and knowledge of related tools a plus.
Qualifications:
- 3 - 5 years of technical infrastructure experience
Preferred Expertise:
- Experience with Citrix (building Servers, Server farms, etc.)
- Experience with Exchange and Active Directory
Preferred Certifications:
- MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer)
- CCEA (Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator), CCIA (Citrix Certified Integration Architect), or a strong CCA (Citrix Certified Administrator).
- VCP (VMware Certified Professional) designation

Storage Engineer
We currently seek a Storage Engineer who will be responsible for supporting enterprise storage environments to include: design, implementation, and support. Provide training and knowledge transfer to the client IT departments and end-users as needed.
Basic Position Requirements:
- Design, implement, and evaluate current and future infrastructure storage initiatives for the highest level of efficiencies and performance
- Manage and support all storage systems. Tier1, Tier2, Tier3
- Support an array of storage architectures
- Manage and maintain Network Appliance (NetApp) storage infrastructure
- Occasional 24x7 support for issues of a tier II, III or senior level related to subject matter expertise
- Work with the network infrastructure team to troubleshoot, design, implement, and improve network communications throughout the enterprise
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager, IT Infrastructure as well as working with other departments as needed
Internal contacts include staff at all levels. External contacts include external customers and vendors. Contact involves troubleshooting, informing, exchanging information; negotiating; making recommendations; giving and taking information, orders, or instructions.
Technical Competencies:
- Certifications in NetApp, Equallogic or EMC
- VMware skills a plus
- Understanding with Microsoft Active Directory
- SAN administration level experience required
